Yoga, meaning union, is a time-tested, comprehensive science of self -development to attain physical, mental and spiritual health. Practices include Hatha Yoga postures, breathwork, relaxation, and meditation .
Form, Function & Flow Yoga weaves dynamic and static Hatha Yoga movement with breath. The focus is moving in “slow flow” with alignment and mindfulness. We “root to rise” as we explore developing strength, grounded-ness, and expansiveness in poses. All levels welcome. To facilitate safe practice, suggestions for modifications and instructions in proper alignment are given throughout each class.
Cynde Denson is a certified 560-hour Yoga Instructor with over 25 years of experience leading groups and private individuals. Her certifications are in Kripalu and Vinyasa Yoga. Throughout her extensive years of practice, Cynde has complemented her training with studies in Anusara, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Kundalini. Additionally, she has studied and practiced Mindfulness Meditation with numerous gifted teachers in the Buddhist tradition and is currently engaged in a 2-year Mindfulness Meditation Certification Program with renowned teachers Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach.. Cynde’s teaching style integrates a blend of these Hatha Yoga traditions with mindfulness, adapted to meet the unique needs of her students. She believes that Yoga and mindfulness can be practiced by “every body”, regardless of physical ability, age or gender. She is passionate about the power of these practices to transform the overall quality of our physical, mental and spiritual well-being. Her beautiful home based studio is located in Conifer, CO.
